MP3 Cutter 1.3 is a program to cut a small part of any MP3 song.
You can later use these small parts, for example, as ring tones for your cell phone, or as a startup sound of windows (after converting them to the wav format).

Using the program is very easy: you must select the .mp3 file from where you wish to extract a part, browsing in your drives. Once selected, the program will start playing it. During playback, you can select where you want your extracted part to begin, and where to end.

The player will display the total duration of the track, the remaining time and the elapsed time, and will display a slidebar on your left, showing you the progress of the track.

You have a button to Play/Pause the track, and another one to Stop It. You can go to a given point of the track moving the slide in the slidebar with your mouse pointer.

Once you´ve set your selection, you can play it pushing the "Play Selection" button. If you´re satisfied with your selection, you can save it to disk in the .mp3 format.

Review summary

  • The program is easy to use and does what it promises. It´s free

  • The cuts on the files are not very accurate. It would be nice to have a fade in/fade out option

bapaktirimu Thank goodness I have Spyware Doctor in my PC!!! Trojan.Spy.Delf.MQ is a trojan that will attempt to steal information including email accounts from an infected machine, and relay it back to a predefined remote server. This trojan will also modify the hosts file to block certain security sites and redirect certain banking sites to bogus sites used for phishing.
Well, to educate ourselves, when comes into getting a free software from so called internet there must be a price though, that is why many will go into piracy things for the solutions such as p2p or torrenting, this is so sad.
There is no absolute risks free nowadays!
